The criteria are established for every complexity level as determined by the complexity matrix.
Work experience in the management system field shall include one of the following, as a minimum:
- managing operations in compliance with technical control requirements;
- implementation and maintenance of management systems;
- monitoring compliance with law and regulations on behalf of a regulating body;
- participation in a management system audit team on behalf of a certification body;
- second-party management system audits;
- provision of management system consultancy.
Management system related training shall include:
- open training
- in-house training
- expert briefings
- on-the-job training
- self paced study
- participation at seminaries
- conferences
- calibration meetings etc,
Knowledge and skills of auditors in the management systems field shall include process, product or service operational control methods and techniques.
